Inspired by the urban-rural blend of the culture in Vijayawada, the airport terminal has been designed to be portrayed as a unique and smart gateway to the region. The local environment and cultural references as well as the historical art and architecture of the region are interpreted in a modern way to add grandeur to the vocabulary of the airport.

A sleek yet bold in its appearance airport, Vijayawada Terminal is defined by a simple jargon with the use of glass in its intelligible facade.

Inspired from the rising sun of the east coast region, the interiors are designed in warm tones, surrounded with yellow accents. Clean spaces with maintenance friendly materials provide a neutral backdrop to the accent art features.
