Prof. (Ar.) Charanjit Shah was the Guest of Honour at the concluding ceremony for ZoNASA 2017 at SRM University, Chennai.
Prof. Shah spoke and interacted with an enthusiastic audience about Creating Sustainable Smart Infrastructure. He engaged the audience at the ceremony with a unique approach towards Smart Cities. He put light on various issues that are damaging our cities and the sustainable ways to improve them.
He stressed on the need for Architecture students to learn to be architects of tomorrow, urging them to go above and beyond just textbook theories and understanding the very essence of building construction. Prof. Shah spoke to a rapt audience of students and teachers about not treating a building simply as a mass of brick and concrete, rather as a living organism that breathes.
