Prof. Charanjit Shah spoke as a Guest Speaker on 'Architectural Interventions for Redefining Indian Smart and Sustainable Cities', for the panel on 'Architecture for Smart Cities.' The crux of Prof. Shah's talk was to focus on the issues that our existing cities are facing by presenting a case study on New Delhi, the National Capital. To engage the other panelists and the audience, he also discussed certain remedies which could be undertaken to breathe life back into Delhi and make all parts of the city, and not just NDMC, cyclable and walkable.
